I have chosen Multiple Sclerosis as my featured charity because my sister suffers from the disease. She was diagnosed in  1991, and since being diagnosed she has had two children Emma and Martha (now 16 and 14 respectively). Katy is wheelchair bound and has been so for 6  years now. Obviously her ability to get around is now severely impaired. She struggles to travel around the country to visit our mother. She also gets tired when doing what we all call minor things like holding the phone up to her ear. She has to have carers looking after her in the morning and  putting her to bed in the evening.  Katy lives in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
